What to expect

Every child learns differently, so I tailor every lesson to their individual needs. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to build confidence or is preparing for SATs, lessons are planned around their goals and learning style.

Before the first lesson

We’ll have a quick chat about your child’s strengths, the areas they find difficult and what you’d like them to achieve. This helps me plan lessons that are focused and personalised from the very beginning.

During each lesson:
• A quick recap of previous learning.

• Clear explanations using examples that make sense.

• Guided practice where we work through questions together.

• Independent activities to build confidence and understanding.

• Plenty of opportunities to ask questions in a relaxed, supportive environment.

• A recap at the end so your child leaves knowing what they’ve learned.
