Hello, I'm Alex! I'm a CELTA qualified English teacher and I have experience with students of all levels. I have taught in China, South Korea, and Spain, and have also lived in Germany. I'm from Birmingham, but right now I live in Leeds. I love to travel and learn about how people live their lives!

I will tailor your lessons to your goals and ability level. My classes are about YOU and I want to know what you are interested in learning about!

I can help you prepare for English exams including Trinity and Cambridge exams or offer conversation classes. If you are an international student coming to study in the UK I can help you learn about British slang, colloquialisms, and answer any questions you have about British culture. If you are working in the UK and need help with vocabulary related to your job I can tailor my classes to your needs.

I use engaging and dynamic materials for online classes and develop an atmosphere where you feel comfortable trying new things and making mistakes - that's how we learn! Confidence is a big part of learning a language.

At the end of every lesson I will give you a sheet of feedback that includes things like pronunciation to improve, good sentences you used during our class, and helpful tips and resources to look at before your next class. It's important to review our mistakes and to celebrate our successes.
