Alex Emery

Hello! I'm a 22-year-old French and Spanish speaker living in Leeds. I have a passion for languages, and have three years of peripatetic teaching experience at a secondary school level across French, Spanish, music and the peer mentor programme.
I believe learning languages is a wonderful springboard into a world of opportunities and culture, and find the experience of opening the door to this extremely rewarding. As a student, I found the most rewarding experiences came from teachers allowing exploration of a subject through the lens of a subject of personal interest, and this is definitely something I try to provide for my students. My passion is music, with over ten years of experience as a gigging musician across a range of instruments. I look forward to getting to know yours!
