Santiago E. Escorcia B.

¡Hola! ?? I'm Santiago, a native Spanish speaker from Colombia, currently studying an MA in Global Governance and Diplomacy at the University of Leeds. I also hold degrees in Political Science and International Relations and have experience in university and high school teaching, company coaching, and developing impactful intercultural environments.

As a University Teaching Assistant, I monitored students' progress and provided tailored academic support to help them overcome difficulties and achieve their goals. ?? That experience shapes how I teach today: your Spanish, your objectives, your lessons.

??? We speak from day one. My lessons focus on real conversation, fluency, confidence, pronunciation and useful vocabulary. We'll usually start by chatting about topics that genuinely interest you, introduce the language structures you need, practise them, and then put everything straight back into conversation: conversation, culture & practice.

?? From your first words to academic Spanish, I'll adapt our lessons to your level, interests and learning style.

Advanced? ?? We can go beyond textbook Spanish and discuss international affairs, economics, science, diplomacy, culture and contemporary issues, developing the vocabulary to express complex ideas naturally. This is also excellent practice for presentations and public speaking.

?? Expect films, creative challenges, learning tricks, Colombian expressions and fun homework designed to keep you connected with the language. We'll identify your goals, interests and how you learn best, then build the experience around YOU. ?? Spanish shouldn't end when the lesson does!

?? My philosophy is simple: don't wait until your Spanish is "perfect" to use it. Make it part of your life, enjoy the process, and let's get you speaking! ???
