Aisha Ogunbode

I am a recent Computer Science graduate who has just completed my final-year and have several years of experience helping students build confidence in both Computing and Mathematics.

I have previously taught Computing to secondary school students, supporting them in developing their understanding of key concepts while improving their problem-solving and analytical skills. Alongside this, I have regularly tutored classmates and younger students in Mathematics, helping them break down difficult topics into simple, manageable steps.

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual needs. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit their pace, learning style, and goals. Lessons typically combine clear explanations, worked examples, interactive problem-solving, and plenty of opportunities for students to ask questions. I break problems down as much as possible to ensure students truly understand the method behind them and can tackle similar questions independently in the future.

Whether a student needs help preparing for exams, understanding challenging concepts, completing coursework, or building confidence in a subject, I aim to create a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.

As a Computer Science graduate, I am particularly passionate about technology, programming, logical thinking, and problem-solving, and I enjoy helping students discover that these subjects can be easy, accessible, and rewarding.

Having recently completed my degree, I understand the challenges students face and can relate to the pressure of exams and deadlines, allowing me to provide practical support and guidance.
