I am a professionally trained vocalist and performer with extensive experience across musical theatre, cabaret, contemporary music and international live entertainment. My training at Laine Theatre Arts, combined with many years working professionally, has given me a strong understanding of vocal technique, breath control, pitch, projection, vocal stamina, harmony, microphone technique and performance. I am a versatile singer with experience in Pop, Rock, Musical Theatre and Jazz, and I am passionate about helping others develop their voices and confidence.

My professional career has taught me the importance of using the voice safely, effectively and expressively. I would bring this practical industry experience into my lessons, helping students not only improve their vocal technique but also develop their interpretation, musicality, stage presence and performance skills. I can also support students preparing for auditions, performances or simply looking to become more confident and comfortable singing.

My teaching approach would be encouraging, patient and completely personalised. I believe every singer has a unique voice, so I would adapt each lesson to the student’s ability, musical interests and individual goals. Whether working with a complete beginner or a more experienced singer, I would create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable experimenting, asking questions and developing at their own pace.

Most importantly, I want my lessons to be enjoyable and motivating. My aim is for every student to finish a lesson feeling more confident, having learned something new and excited to continue developing their voice. I want to help each student discover their individuality as a singer and reach their full potential.
