I am a professionally trained and experienced vocalist and performer with a diverse career spanning musical theatre, cabaret, contemporary music, live performance and international cruise ship entertainment. My training at Laine Theatre Arts, combined with years of performing professionally, has given me a strong understanding of vocal technique, breath control, projection, pitch, vocal stamina, harmony, microphone technique and performance. I am a versatile singer with experience across Pop, Rock, Musical Theatre and Jazz, and I am passionate about helping singers develop both their voices and their confidence. As a teacher, I would create a positive, encouraging and personalised environment where students feel comfortable exploring their voice without fear of judgement. I believe every singer is different, so I would tailor lessons around each student’s ability, musical interests and individual goals. Whether a student is a complete beginner, wants to improve their technique, is preparing for an audition, or simply wants to become more confident singing for enjoyment, I would adapt my approach to suit them. My professional performance experience allows me to bring practical industry knowledge into my teaching. I can help students develop not only their vocal technique, but also interpretation, expression, stage presence, confidence and performance skills. I want students to understand how to use their voice safely and effectively while also discovering their own unique sound and personality as a singer. Above all, I want my lessons to be enjoyable, motivating and rewarding. My aim is for every student to leave a lesson feeling that they have learned something new, made progress and, most importantly, feel more confident in their ability.
