I begin by identifying strengths and gaps in knowledge before building a clear plan around the areas that will make the biggest difference. Lessons combine clear explanations of Human and Physical Geography with retrieval practice, case studies and exam-style questions. I place particular emphasis on command words, assessment criteria, extended writing and exam technique, so students understand not only the content but how to turn their knowledge into marks.
