With over 30 years of experience as a professional actor, alongside designing and delivering communication skills courses, my lessons focus on learning through doing rather than passive study. I use real-life situations as the foundation of each session—whether that’s everyday conversations, professional communication, or public speaking—so students can immediately apply what they learn.

My teaching style is dynamic, interactive, and tailored to each student. I incorporate techniques from drama and performance to help build confidence, presence, and natural fluency. This might include role-play, improvisation, storytelling, and practical speaking exercises, all designed to make learning engaging and memorable.

A key focus is helping students move beyond simply “knowing” English to actually using it with ease and clarity. We work on pronunciation, rhythm, and expression, as well as understanding meaning in context. I also support students who want to improve public speaking or present themselves more confidently in professional or social settings.

Above all, my aim is to create a relaxed but focused environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, making mistakes, and developing genuine confidence in their communication.
