Skills, Experience and Teaching Approach I am an experienced and committed educator with over 12 years of teaching experience across secondary and higher education, with a broad subject background encompassing Economics, History, Finance, Marketing, Business Studies, Business Administration and Reflective Writing. Throughout my career, I have developed strong teaching, communication, interpersonal, organisational and classroom management skills, alongside the ability to adapt my teaching methods to meet the diverse academic needs, abilities and learning styles of students. My teaching experience spans different educational environments and multicultural backgrounds, giving me valuable experience in supporting students from diverse nationalities, cultures and educational systems. I understand that students have different levels of prior knowledge, language proficiency, confidence and learning expectations. Consequently, I adopt an inclusive, patient and student-centred approach that encourages participation, independent thinking, collaboration and academic development. In higher education, I have gained valuable experience working with the University of Sunderland and Cambridge Education Group (CEG)/ONCAMPUS Sunderland. My teaching experience includes supporting international students, particularly at Pre-Master's level, in subjects such as Finance, Economics, Management Accounting, Finance and Management, Reflective Skills and Reflective Essay Writing. I have supported students in understanding academic expectations within the UK higher education system, developing critical thinking, academic writing, research, referencing and reflective learning skills. I also have experience introducing students to reflective models such as Gibbs' Reflective Cycle and Kolb's Experiential Learning Cycle, helping them connect theoretical knowledge with practical experiences.
