What to Expect from My Lessons

My lessons are engaging, interactive, student-centred and tailored to meet individual learning needs. With over 12 years of teaching experience across secondary and higher education, I have taught Economics, Finance, Marketing, Business Studies, Business Administration, History and Reflective Writing. My experience at the University of Sunderland and Cambridge Education Group (ONCAMPUS Sunderland) has also equipped me to support students from diverse cultural, educational and international backgrounds.

My lessons follow a structured but flexible format, beginning with clear learning objectives and an introduction to the topic. I then break down complex concepts into simple, understandable explanations, using practical examples, real-life case studies, presentations and interactive discussions. Students are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, participate in group activities and develop independent thinking.

I use quizzes, exercises, assignments, past examination questions and constructive feedback to assess understanding and monitor progress. For reflective writing, I introduce relevant academic frameworks and guide students through planning, critical analysis and effective academic writing.

I am patient, approachable, supportive and passionate about helping students succeed. My ultimate goal is to make learning enjoyable, build confidence and equip every student with the knowledge and skills to achieve their academic and professional ambitions.
