My pedagogical experience comprises of completing half of a PGCE in Secondary Modern Languages, I designed lessons and created physical and electronic classroom resources that would structure students’ learning so that the entire syllabus and exam practice would be covered within the given scholastic year. I also endeavoured to build in differentiation into the tasks so that students of differing abilities could get the most out of the lessons.
Prior to this, I have also worked for a year as a secondary school French language assistant where I also lead tutorial groups up to GCSE level, in addition to volunteering as an assistant children’s rock-climbing instructor at The Central YMCA in London for two years, and au-pairing in France.
