I would create a supportive and engaging learning environment by first understanding each student’s goals, strengths, and areas where they need additional support. My background in Mass Communication has equipped me with strong communication skills, allowing me to explain concepts clearly and adapt my approach to different learning styles. Additionally, my minor in Psychology has strengthened my understanding of human behavior, active listening, and motivation, which I believe are essential when guiding and encouraging students. Through my experience in customer service, sales, and e-commerce, I have developed patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds. I regularly help customers navigate challenges, answer questions, and provide solutions in a clear and supportive manner. I would apply these same skills when teaching by breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, encouraging open communication, providing constructive feedback, and helping students build confidence as they work toward their personal and academic goals.
