Highly accomplished musician gives music theory lessons to all ages at all levels.

Not your run-of-the-mill music tutor. I'm a working musician, improviser, and arranger, with years of experience across very different musical worlds: classical, jazz, free improvisation, and experimental music. That range lets me teach music from the inside rather than from a single textbook. I teach harmony, counterpoint, notation, and ear training, from the fundamentals to advanced work, in both classical and jazz contexts. I also cover improvisation, rhythm, and the physics behind the music: intonation, harmonics, etc. My teaching method is highly flexible. If you want to learn a specific subject, I can tailor a step-by-step course. But if you want me to have a look at your Muzik, we could also learn on a more ad hoc need to know basis.
