I am a friendly, patient and approachable tutor who enjoys making science easy to understand.

I have a strong academic background in biotechnology with an MSc from the University of Liverpool and experience in molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, biochemistry and cell biology. I have provided one-to-one academic support to university peers and tutored high school students in biology, helping them understand difficult concepts and prepare for exams. My approach is to assess each student's current understanding, explain concepts using simple examples and visual aids, encourage questions, and adapt lessons to their learning style. I aim to build both subject knowledge and confidence in a supportive and engaging learning environment.
