Advert description
I bring strong listening skills, empathy and a practical approach to supporting students who are feeling under pressure or unsure of themselves. Much of my experience comes from working with people during times of change, helping them make sense of what’s holding them back and supporting them to move forward with more confidence and clarity. I’m particularly good at building trust quickly and helping people feel at ease, which is often the hardest part for students who may feel anxious or overwhelmed.
My approach is calm, supportive and very student-led. I start by getting to know the student as a person — what they’re struggling with, what’s important to them and what they want to change. From there, I help them set realistic goals and break things down into manageable steps. Sessions might focus on building confidence, improving motivation, managing stress, developing better routines, or finding practical ways to stay organised and focused.
I don’t believe in pressure or one-size-fits-all solutions. I encourage open conversation, reflection and small achievable actions that help students feel more in control and capable. My aim is always for students to leave sessions feeling listened to, supported and clearer about what they can do next, with tools they can use both in their studies and in everyday life.
