A-level Student currently studying 3 subjects including Maths at a selective school offering maths lessons for KS2-4 (Yr3-11)

For me, most importantly I mainly focus on encouraging a firm and solid understanding of the subject which is a key to its success in the future. I usually start by breaking down complex problems into smaller and more manageable parts through vivid explanations and real-life applications. Lastly, I aim to create an space where questions are welcomed, critical and quick thinking is well developed (especially in the case of Maths), and students feel confident in approaching and attempting tasks they once felt unsure about.
