My lessons are interactive, structured, and tailored to each student’s goals—whether that’s excelling in exams, mastering a tricky topic, or preparing for university or competitions. I begin each session with a quick warm-up or recap to reinforce previous material and identify gaps. Then, we dive into the day’s topic using clear explanations, worked examples, and live problem-solving. I guide students step-by-step, encouraging them to think out loud and ask questions as we go.

For GCSE and A-Level students, I focus on exam skills, breaking down difficult concepts into manageable parts, and practicing past paper questions under timed conditions. For Olympiad or extension students, we tackle advanced problems together, develop proof-writing skills, and explore creative methods beyond the syllabus.

I’ve completed A-Levels early with AA in Maths and Further Maths, and earned distinctions in the British Mathematical Olympiad, so I understand how to support both exam-focused learners and ambitious students seeking a challenge.

Each lesson ends with a summary, feedback, and carefully chosen practice problems to reinforce learning and build confidence week by week.
