Not being able to write and speak Yoruba language as a diaspora learner can be quite challenging and just like you, i have been there, i have been in a situation where i was questioned why i choose "Yoruba" as a disciple in the university. Being a native speaker is not enough but knowing the grammar structure,tones and culture is what makes you as a diaspora learner speak eloquently and that is why i will teach and encourage you as my learner to learn the basics like "Alphabet,tones,greetings ,how to introduce yourself,simple action word" first,i also ensure you use what is been learnt in class in your day to day life because speaking Yoruba language can be less confusing and more straightforward.
