I’m a friendly and adaptable tutor who provides personalised lessons for children and young people of all abilties.

I use a personalised and interactive teaching approach, drawing on my experience working in schools and tutoring students with a range of abilities and learning needs. I break difficult concepts down into clear, everyday language and use an online whiteboard, diagrams, worked examples, practice questions and carefully selected online resources to make lessons engaging and easy to follow. I also tailor examples and activities around each student’s interests, strengths and preferred learning style, helping them relate unfamiliar topics to things they already understand. I regularly check understanding throughout the lesson, revisit areas of difficulty and adapt the pace and teaching method so that students feel comfortable asking questions, build confidence and make steady progress.
