Advert description
Having achieved straight 9s (A* equivalent) at GCSEs and 3A*s and an A at A Level, I am confident about how to succeed in exams.
In my eyes, this is to do with understanding (NOT memorising) the content and also understanding how the examiner wants to mark. And I emulate this in my lessons.
The first session will evaluate your confidence in the subject, allowing me to construct future lessons to support areas which are potentially weaker and reinforcing the stronger areas.
There will be lots of exam preparation so not only are you learning the content, you are also learning how to actually achieve the marks. I have had many cases where I nailed the content but didn’t present it accurately in the exam which weakened my score.
I teach virtually but enable students to access all resources used. This also means some homework will be set in order to solidify the content covered in the lesson. At school, you learn something and then have to relearn it because you don't regularly recall it.
I hope to hear from anyone who is interested - I have taught many students so will put that wealth of experience into making lessons the best that they can be.
