Hi, I am a straight 9 student from Abingdon School with an Academic Scholarship. At GCSE, I studied Mandarin, History, French, Computer Science, Religious Studies, English Lit + Lang, Double Award Science, Maths and Additional Maths at GCSE. As a current A - level student, I am able to sympathise with current GCSE students and more easily understand their problems. I am currently studying A level English, History, Economics, Maths and Mandarin.

For teaching experience, I run a weekly student-led club at my school where I teach over 40 people how to invest in the stock market. This has allowed me to develop my teaching skills so that I can help younger students more effectively, and in a simple and understandable manner. You could also expect me to ask for student’s past work to go through in my own time - as this would allow me to find repeated issues across works.

In a lesson, you could expect me to go through student’s work and identify key areas for improvement. I would also set short exercises to hone in on these issues to try and combat them before exams - I’m sure this would propel your child towards a better grade!

Ideally, I would like to have a weekly hour-long session online or in person (I am based in the Henley area). I am open to longer sessions if this would help your child. I charge £25 per hour but am happy to negotiate if you are booking multiple sessions.
