With straight 9s in GCSEs, and an academic scholarship to Abingdon School I’d be happy to tutor any GCSE level subject. My broad teaching experience at my student club, the Abingdon Investment and Trading Club, where I teach over 40 students weekly would also make me the best applicant to teach those younger than myself. As a tutor, I would ask for students’ past materials to look through in my own time so I can gain a personal understanding of what help they need; this would allow me to personalise lessons to focus on specific weaknesses I have found. During lessons I would aim to provide simple yet effective exercises and feedback on work, helping to propel the student towards the grade they want.
