A level and GCSE Edexcel History and Russian Tutor

Hi! My name is Eldar, and I'm a first-year Law student at the University of Nottingham. I offer tutoring in GCSE and A-level Russian, specialising in the Edexcel exam board. I'm here to help students build their confidence, understand challenging topics, and achieve their academic goals. Having achieved a grade 9 at GCSE and an A* at A-level Russian myself, I'm very familiar with the exam structure, assessment criteria, and effective revision techniques needed to achieve top grades. I understand what examiners are looking for and can help students develop the skills necessary to succeed. I also have previous teaching experience. During Sixth Form, I volunteered as an English tutor for Ukrainian students, helping them improve their language skills and confidence. Alongside this, I regularly provided guitar lessons, which helped me develop my communication skills and ability to adapt my teaching style to different students. During our lessons, we can focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, speaking, and exam techniques. We will also work through past papers, practise exam-style questions, and identify areas that need improvement. I believe that learning a language should be both enjoyable and rewarding. My approach is friendly, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual needs, whether you're aiming for the highest grades or simply looking to improve your Russian. I'd be more than happy to share my experience, support you throughout your studies, and help you achieve the best possible results in your GCSE or A-level Russian exams!
