Would you love to learn something from a student who has experienced the journey themselves?

During my year 1o work experience week I completed work experience in a primary school where i helped teachers organise presentations and gave students mentoring sessions helping them personally in topics they particularly found hard. This helped me grow my passion towards teaching and have ever since continued to teach others.I have now began mentoring younger students between years 7 to 9 in my school during lunchtime on subjects like maths and English helping them complete questions and this has reflected in them seeing an increase in grades. I believe this skill will play well for this role as from my experience of going through the journey myself i believe i could tutor students to the most effective and clear way. I am eager and enthusiastic and cannot wait to join a great team of tutors where i will be able to add to the team and maintain expectations.
