I am a native English speaker and experienced ESL teacher looking to help you become confident in your English language skills

I am a native English-speaking teacher from Brighton, UK. I have one year of experience in teaching English as a foreign language, helping my students to become confident in their use of English. I am also a professional proofreader and editor, so I have a deep understanding of grammar (and all its 'fantastic' quirks!).
I always focus on what my students want to gain from our lessons: improving speaking skills to help them land that dream job interview, perfecting their writing to apply for university or jobs in English-speaking countries, or even just pactising conversations to help make new friends and open up opportunities all over the world.
I believe that conversation is the best way to become proficient in a new language, so my lessons are based around a dialogue, exploring whatever topics are relevant and meaningful to my students' desires and needs. Of course, I combine this with helping get to grips with the ins-and-outs of English grammar and syntax to foster a deep and personalised knowledge of the English language.
