Fine Artist/ Illustrator offering expert tutoring in Art & Design, with a broad knowledge of industry techniques

I have a First Class Degree in Illustration & Animation and I am a self employed freelance Illustrator who specialises in characterful illustration and mural artwork for my clients.
I've previously worked in Animation so I can offer my industry standard technical skills in Adobe CC including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects if the students interests are more digitally inclined.
As well as this, I show a high level competence in most traditional art forms and hand craft techniques. I can give very thorough tips and tricks in water colouring, oil paint, print making and illustration to help students art work reach the high standards they set to achieve. Working with ceramics and clay is also I'm very at home with and do not mind trying out new techniques if this is what they wish.
My passion and commitment to drawing ensures I'll be able to teach students everything I know about how I became an illustrator. I believe a good grasp of the basics in Art and Design opens up many doors, and I have plenty of tips, tricks and ideas to help teach students anything that will help them sharpen up their Art skills.
I'm happy to share with students my own personal advice, from keeping sketchbooks and time management as a self employed artist. I've got heaps of fun drawing games & practises that they can build into their everyday to help them maximise their artistic potential and gain confidence in their practise.
I strive to help students find and feel at home with their personal visual language, as well as teaching them how to be thorough and critical in their creative process. I am extremely passionate about Art and Design and I'm open to discuss ideas about creative careers, and help guide students through their choices when considering Art and Design in further or higher education. My degree was concept focused so I have a passion for finding what matters to individuals and working from the idea up.
