LSE sociology graduate helping students genuinely understand society, not just memorise it

I graduated from the London School of Economics this year with a BSc in Sociology, including a First Class dissertation. My academic results have been consistently strong: best in two provinces for O-Level Sociology, 7 A's and 3 A*'s at GCSE, and A*AA at A-Level in History, Economics and Sociology. But what matters most to me is genuine understanding, not memorisation, and that's what I want to pass on to my students.

I'm currently working toward a Master's and eventually a PhD in this field, so tutoring genuinely excites me rather than feeling like just a job. Every lesson is tailored to what's actually confusing the student, with the goal of leaving each session understanding why an answer is right, not just what it is.
