Maths Tutor for KS3 and GCSE, for yrs 7-11

Hi there! Hi! I’m an enthusiastic and committed GCSE Maths tutor with over two years of experience helping Year 11 students achieve outstanding results. Every student I have tutored has gone on to achieve Grade 8 or 9 in their GCSE Maths exam, and I take pride in helping students not only improve their grades but also build lasting confidence in their mathematical ability.

I believe every student can succeed with the right support. My lessons are carefully tailored to each individual’s strengths, areas for improvement, and learning style. Whether a student is aiming to secure a pass, move from a Grade 6 to an 8, or achieve a Grade 9, I create structured, engaging lessons that make even the most challenging topics easier to understand.

Alongside strengthening mathematical knowledge, I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, problem-solving, and identifying common mistakes, ensuring students are fully prepared for the demands of the GCSE exam. I use past paper questions, targeted practice, and clear explanations to maximise progress and help students feel confident walking into their exams.

Having recently completed my own A-level studies, I understand the pressures students face and can relate to their experiences. My approachable and patient teaching style creates a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. I am passionate about helping every student reach their full potential and achieve the highest grades they are capable of.
