My lessons are engaging, well-structured, and tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I begin by identifying the areas a student finds most challenging and create a personalised plan to help them make consistent progress. Each lesson combines clear explanations with plenty of guided practice, allowing students to develop both confidence and a deep understanding of the topics.

I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I adapt my teaching methods depending on what works best for each student, using step-by-step explanations, worked examples, and targeted practice questions to reinforce key concepts.

As students become more confident, lessons focus increasingly on exam-style questions, problem-solving, and effective exam techniques. We regularly review progress, revisit difficult topics when needed, and build on previous learning to ensure lasting understanding rather than memorisation.

With over two years of experience tutoring Year 11 GCSE Maths students, I understand the GCSE curriculum and what examiners are looking for. My aim is to make maths approachable, engaging, and enjoyable while helping every student build the skills and confidence they need to achieve their very best.
