I am an experienced online mathematics tutor with over 20 years of teaching KS2, KS3, GCSE, and high school mathematics, as well as American curricula including Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and SAT Math preparation. I have worked with a wide range of students from ages 9 to 18, helping them improve their grades, build confidence, and develop a deeper understanding of mathematics. In my lessons, I first identify each student’s strengths and gaps through careful questioning and targeted practice. I then explain concepts clearly and step-by-step, using real-life examples and visual methods to make abstract ideas easier to understand. I focus on building strong foundations, especially in algebra and problem-solving, because these are key to success in higher-level maths. Every lesson is structured, interactive, and adapted to the student’s pace. I provide plenty of guided practice, exam-style questions, and ongoing feedback so students can see real progress. My goal is not just to help students pass exams like GCSEs or the SAT, but to help them become confident, independent learners who feel capable in mathematics.
