Math undergraduate student hoping to tutor math and increase understanding of math concepts and boost problem solving skills.

Often times, when maths is being taught, students are told how to solve a problem set but as a student myself I find that this was not really helpfull when facing problems in the same topic that require more critical thinking or is presented in a form different to the guided problem set and this is what I want to focus on, ensuring the concepts are clear so that student are able to disect word problems and solve it independently. Furthermore, I intend to urge the student to vocalise their reasoning behind each problem-solving step so that I can help them pinpoint when their reasoning is going off course.
