Each session begins with a quick review of previous learning, followed by clear teaching of new topics broken down step by step. I then guide learners through worked examples before moving into independent practice to check understanding and build confidence.

During lessons, I use online tools such as interactive questions, shared working, and visual explanations to make maths clear and engaging. Learners are encouraged to ask questions throughout, and I adapt my explanations in real time to ensure they fully understand each concept before moving on.

A typical lesson also includes targeted practice linked to exam-style questions, helping learners become familiar with question formats and build accuracy under exam conditions. I set short, focused homework tasks to reinforce learning and use revision sessions to revisit key topics and strengthen retention over time.

My teaching style is calm, patient, and supportive. I break maths down into simple, manageable steps to reduce anxiety and make the subject feel more achievable. I focus on building confidence through steady progress and positive reinforcement.

With experience in Further Education, I support learners across Functional Skills Maths and Foundation GCSE Maths, adapting each lesson to individual ability and goals.
