Experienced Maths and Computer Science Teacher | GCSE & A-Level Tutor

I am an experienced Maths and Computer Science teacher with over 20 years’ experience teaching across secondary and further education. I specialise in supporting students at Key Stages 3 and 4, as well as GCSE and A-Level, helping them build confidence, improve understanding, and achieve their academic goals.

I provide clear, structured lessons tailored to each student’s needs, whether they require support with core concepts, exam preparation, or programming skills. In Maths, I focus on developing strong foundations, problem-solving techniques, and exam confidence. In Computer Science, I offer support in areas such as Python programming, algorithms, data representation, and computer systems.

My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and results-focused. I break down complex topics into manageable steps and use practical examples to make learning more accessible. I also use past exam questions and targeted practice to help students understand how to apply their knowledge effectively in assessments.

In addition to my teaching experience, I have a strong technical background in IT, including web development and networking, which allows me to provide real-world context to the subjects I teach.
