Each session is typically divided into three parts: a review of previous learning, clear explanation of new concepts, and guided practice. I use a step-by-step approach to break down complex topics into manageable sections, ensuring that students fully understand before moving on. I encourage questions throughout and adapt the pace to suit the learner.
For Maths, lessons focus on building strong foundations, improving problem-solving skills, and applying methods effectively to exam-style questions. For Computer Science, I cover areas such as Python programming, algorithms, data representation, and computer systems, using practical examples to reinforce understanding.
I regularly use past paper questions and targeted exercises to help students become familiar with exam requirements and improve their confidence. I also provide feedback and strategies to help students avoid common mistakes and maximise marks.
