Advert description
If you're preparing for your GCSE English Language mock exams, my lessons are designed to help you feel more confident, strengthen your exam technique, and identify the areas that could make the biggest difference to your grade.
I offer friendly, structured support for AQA GCSE English Language students in Years 10 and 11, with lessons adapted to your current working grade, target grade, and the questions you find most challenging. Whether you're aiming to secure a grade 4, push towards a grade 7–9, or simply feel more prepared for your upcoming mocks, we can work together to build a clear plan for improvement.
Lessons can focus on the areas you need most, including reading comprehension, language and structure analysis, evaluation, comparison between sources, creative and persuasive writing, and exam technique. We can also work on timing, planning answers, selecting effective evidence, and developing clear, well-supported responses.
I use past-paper questions, model answers, and guided practice to help make the mark schemes feel much more manageable. We'll explore why marks are awarded, where marks might be lost, and how you can make your own answers more effective.
Mock exams are a valuable opportunity to identify strengths and areas for improvement ahead of your final GCSEs. My aim is to create a supportive learning environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and develop the confidence to approach unfamiliar questions independently.
Whether you have a mock exam approaching in a few weeks or want to build stronger foundations throughout the academic year, lessons will always be focused on helping you make the best use of your preparation time and work towards your target grade.
