GCSE AQA English Language Resit Support – Helping You Find Those Extra Marks

If you're preparing to resit GCSE English Language, my lessons are designed to help pinpoint the areas that can make the biggest difference in your grade before your next exam.

I offer friendly, structured support for AQA GCSE English Language students, with lessons adapted to your current grade, target grade, and the questions you find most challenging. If you missed a grade 4 by any margin, we can work together to identify where marks are being lost and build a clear plan for finding those marks back.

Lessons can focus on the area you need most, including reading comprehension, language and structure analysis, evaluation, comparison between sources, creative and persuasive writing, as well as exam technique. We can also work on timing, planning answers, selecting effective evidence, and developing points clearly.

I use past-paper questions, model answers and guided practice to help make the AQA mark scheme feel much more manageable. Rather than simply completing lots of questions, we will look at why marks are awarded and how you can make your own answers more effective.

My aim is to create a supportive space where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and build confidence before your resit. Whether you were just a few marks away from a pass or feel that you need to strengthen several areas, lessons will always be focused on helping you make the best use of your time available before the exam.
