I am a flexible, committed and proactive tutor with a strong academic background in STEM subjects. I have a wide range of experience in one-to-one tutoring, academy teaching and volunteer leadership, and I specialise in helping students gain deep mastery of their subjects, confidence on exams and the ability to solve problems independently. I know every student is different and learns differently, so I tailor my approach to suit them, whether it's breaking down difficult theory with imaginative analogies, concentrating on exam techniques step-by-step or designing focused strategies for neurodiverse learners and students with SEND support needs.In addition to academics, my nine years with the Scouts, where I now volunteer as a Scout Leader and run STEM initiatives, have also sharpened my ability to communicate clearly, exercise patience and mentor young people effectively.
