I'm an experienced tutor specialising in Maths, the Sciences, and Computer Science, with over five years of teaching experience across KS2, KS3, GCSE, and A-Level. I teach GCSE Maths, Combined/Triple Science, Computer Science, and English, as well as A-Level Physics, Maths, Further Maths, and Computer Science, so I'm able to support students continuously as they progress through their education rather than just for a single stage or exam!

My approach is flexible and built around each student rather than a one-size-fits-all method. Before we start, I take time to understand where a student is struggling, how they learn best, and what their goals are - whether that's catching up on missed content, building confidence in a tricky topic, or pushing for the top grades. I also have experience teaching SEND and SEN students, and I adapt my pace, materials, and explanations to suit different learning needs, making sure every student feels supported rather than left behind.

Lessons typically combine clear explanations of core concepts, worked examples, and plenty of guided and independent practice, with regular check-ins to make sure understanding is solid before moving on. For exam-focused students, I incorporate past papers and exam technique throughout, not just in the final weeks. For younger or KS2 students, I keep things engaging and encouraging, building strong foundations without overwhelming them.
