Are you looking to learn guitar, improve your playing, prepare for an exam or simply enjoy making music?

I offer professional, friendly and individualised guitar tuition for students of all ages and abilities.

I am a passionate musician, qualified music teacher and experienced instrumental tutor with over 20 years of teaching experience. Throughout my career I have taught students with a wide range of ages, abilities and musical interests, from complete beginners to more advanced players.

My aim is always to make lessons enjoyable, rewarding and relevant to each individual student while helping them make consistent, measurable progress.
I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to suit their abilities, interests and goals. Whether you want to learn your favourite songs, develop your technique, play in a band, improve your confidence, work towards graded examinations or prepare for GCSE or A Level performance, I can design lessons around what you want to achieve.

I have successfully prepared students for Rockschool graded examinations, achieving a 100% pass rate. I understand how to set realistic goals, structure learning effectively and prepare students to perform confidently under examination conditions.

Alongside my teaching career, I am an experienced professional performer. I have performed at prestigious venues including Birmingham Symphony Hall and Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, giving me first-hand experience of the realities and rewards of performing live.
