My guitar lessons are relaxed, friendly and tailored to each student's individual goals, musical interests and experience. Whether you're picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to improve your existing playing, my aim is to help you build confidence, develop your technique and, most importantly, have fun making music.

I believe the best way to learn guitar is by combining the fundamentals with the music that inspires you. Lessons can cover everything from basic chords, rhythm and strumming to riffs, power chords, lead guitar, scales, solos and more advanced techniques. We can also explore different genres, including rock, punk, metal, depending on your interests.

Rather than following a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach, I'll adapt lessons to suit your ability, learning style and ambitions. We can work towards learning your favourite songs, improving your songwriting skills or developing the techniques you need to become a more confident guitarist. I'll break things down into manageable steps, explain techniques clearly and help you identify areas to practice between lessons.

As a guitarist in the rock band Lesbian Bed Death, I bring practical experience of playing and performing music in a band environment. I understand the importance of finding your own style, building confidence and enjoying the creative side of playing guitar.

My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging atmosphere where you can ask questions, make mistakes and progress at your own pace. Above all, I want you to leave each lesson feeling motivated, having learned something new and excited to pick up your guitar again!
