Advert description
I am a graduate of some of the UK's most prestigious educational institutions - the University of Cambridge and LSE - and a current candidate for the degree of PGDL at the University of Sheffield.
I have over seven years of tutoring experience in the subjects of English Literature, History, Philosophy, Politics and Sociology at both GCSE and A-Level. I have also worked extensively with the groundbreaking Harris Experience enrichment program, delivering lectures and assisting with university entry, including Oxbridge.
My lessons offer:
* Deep insight into a range of both classical and modern texts in the relevant subjects, often beyond the scope of the curriculum, ensuring students truly stand out when looking to gain entry to the country's top academic institutions.
* Structured essay-writing techniques and critical analysis.
* Help with exam preparation, coursework, and revision.
* Interactive and engaging exercises which bring the subject matter to life and relate it to real-world events.
* Lessons delivered with a horizon of University entry, helping to foster a deeper critical engagement with the subject matter to ensure students thrive once graduated into a higher education setting.
I am also a trained musician and composer and can offer tutoring in guitar and piano.
Outside of tutoring I have worked as a Parliamentary Assistant to a Labour MP and also established my own theatre company, Frisky Arts, where I continue to hold the position of musical director.
