I have aided students to get into the 7/8/9 band of grading as well as helping previously failing students pass. I will get to know you as a learner and offer tactics to successfully teach you how to interpret texts and get the grades you want. I will offer personalised lessons and structure your learning to be ready for those exams!
I will complete past papers with you and go through portions of texts which are usable in any scenario and offer contextually sound information to include in any essay to pick up a couple of extra marks. I know how frustrating it is to keep missing the grade or just never fully understand what you are doing wrong or even the fact that you just don’t like reading. And that is okay.
If you don’t like reading, I will tailor the lessons to being more vocal or creative and have an engaging discussion using basic techniques such as knowledge recollection to eventually build up your knowledge surrounding your GCSE texts without ever picking up the book. I want you to enter your exam with confidence, knowing what to write and leaving knowing you are going to pass.
Here’s a secret, you can preplan your GCSE essay and get away with it. All you need is to hit the assessment objectives to get that pass mark on results day.
