ADHD & Neurodiversity-Informed Coach | Confidence, Organisation & Study Support

Advert description
I’m an ADHD & Neurodiversity-Informed Coach supporting young people to better understand themselves, build confidence and find ways of working that suit them.

My approach goes beyond simply giving strategies or telling someone how to be more organised. I believe that understanding how you work as a person is an important starting point. Together, we can explore strengths, challenges, motivation, overwhelm, organisation and executive functioning, while finding practical approaches that feel realistic and sustainable.

I work in a supportive, person-centred and non-judgemental way, particularly with young people who may feel frustrated, overwhelmed or like they are constantly struggling to meet expectations. Reducing shame and guilt is an important part of my approach - there is nothing “lazy” or “unmotivated” about finding something difficult.

I can support with:

*Understanding ADHD and neurodivergent ways of working
*Organisation, planning and time management
*Executive functioning and getting started with tasks
*Managing overwhelm and energy
*Building confidence and self-awareness
*Finding strategies that work for the individual
*Developing more sustainable approaches to study and everyday life

I have a Certificate of Higher Education in Psychology and am currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Psychological Studies with The Open University. I am a Certified Coach through MOE Foundation and a Practitioner of ADHD Coaching through SpeakUp, and am currently undertaking further ICF-accredited ADHD coach training with Gold Mind Academy.

I also have an Enhanced DBS for working with adults and children, relevant professional insurance, and Level 2 safeguarding and autism training.

My sessions are coaching rather than tutoring: I won't teach subject content or complete work for you. Instead, I'll help you understand yourself better, work through barriers and develop approaches that support you to make progress.

When I'm unable to move forward by myself, Veronica helps me come up with solutions that I wouldn't have reached alone. When you can't see the wood for the trees, she helps bring thing into focus. She provides a useful summary of each session for future reference. I also feel seen and understood, which is such a relief.

I've been working with Veronica for a good several weeks now I believe and our sessions are always so productive. I always seem to come out of our sessions with a much clearer mind, being able to make better decisions without breaking the boundaries I began putting more in place for myself. Looking forward to our next sessions!
