I’m a University of Warwick Liberal Arts student in the top 10% of my cohort, specialising in Edexcel A-Level History and AQA GCSE History. I have a passion for history and want students to truly enjoy studying the subject. My teaching style is supportive but also rigorous.
Alongside studying Liberal Arts at the University of Warwick, I am experienced in supporting students with literacy development and History exam technique. I help learners improve their reading comprehension, writing structure, analytical skills, and confidence, as well as reviewing GCSE and A-Level History papers to identify lost marks and areas for improvement. I hold an enhanced DBS check and provide supportive, focused guidance tailored to each student’s needs and exam-board requirements.
Standard school lessons often cover what happened, yet students lose marks because they aren’t sure how to write high-scoring analytical essays under time constraints. That’s why I focus on helping you hone your analytical skills to get the top marks.
Whether you're aiming to secure an A/A* or turn around a struggling grade, my targeted approach ensures students develop strong technique and offers a pathway to success.
How My Lessons Work
1. Diagnostic Review & Exam Paper Analysis: We will start by evaluating your recent exam papers to see where exactly you lose marks.
2. Success Plan: Once we understand what your areas for improvement are, we will work together to practice exam questions and consider potential revision strategies.
3. Bespoke Revision Resources: I will curate tailored revision materials and homework (if so desired) mapped to your exam board specification.
4. Transparent Progress & Support: I maintain clear communication with students (and parents) to discuss progress and ensure students meet their full potential.
Post-Exam & Essay Feedback
As well as weekly lessons, I offer post-exam advice and detailed paper reviews. I break down where marks were lost, review study techniques, and suggest study schedule so you can walk into your next exam with complete confidence.

• Online: Available nationwide via Zoom/Google Meet.
• In-Person: Available in and around Royal Leamington Spa.
• Flexibility: Evening and weekend slots are currently open to accommodate busy school schedules. Happy to work on a hybrid basis.
