English Tutoring - By a student, For Students

Hi! I'm 18 and have just finished my A-levels, including English Literature, where I'm predicted an A. I understand what it is like to go through the pressure of exams because I have just done it myself. I'm now offering friendly, affordable English tutoring.

Since a child I have always had a genuine love for English, whether it is breaking down poetry, analysing novels or improving essay skills. I know how frustrating English can be when it does not click and how rewarding it feels when it finally does. That is why I want to help other students as someone who has been in your shoes. I'll explain things in a way that actually makes sense and we can work together at your pace, focusing on what YOU need, no pressure, just progress.

How I work with students:
Primary students:
- focus on reading with confidence, spelling, grammar, and creative writing
- Use fun, engaging activities to build a strong foundation
- Patience and encouragement, a friendly role model.
- Help with school homework and SAT style question if needed.

Secondary Students (KS3 - GCSE)
- Support with essay writing, literary analysis and exam techniques
- Breaking down texts into manageable ideas
- Help improve structure and clarity in writing
- Learn what the examiners want
- Tailored lessons based on what you need
