I believe that each lesson should be fun and filled with different learning methods; quizzes, discussions and picture-based presentations are a personal favourite of mine! Alongside this, I believe that practice is crucial so I will be using past papers regularly to refer to and talk about. The majority of my content will be filled with different perspectives and lots of information that students can choose to pick and dissect in their own time. However, in my lessons, I will be using presentations to discuss certain aspects of English and focus on the main difficulties that each student has. Every presentation and document will be shared with the student to either assess or just have as a revision resource for later! I think my lessons will be structured slightly differently from other tutors as I have had first-hand recent experience of what current English education entails. Therefore a lot of my content will be based on this experience and I will follow the exact course that the student is taking, providing fun and interesting perspectives on topics they are struggling with. However, I am very flexible in my teaching and will be able to alter my lessons if students enjoy other teaching methods or practices. Lastly, I believe that English should be a fun learning process as there is so much to dissect and use in every single piece of literature you come across; I do understand that many students struggle with this but literature is such a broad subject that I can guarantee that there is something for everyone to enjoy!
