Qualified English tutor with a wide range of experience

Hi, my name's Lucy and I'm from Poole.

I have a wide range of teaching experience including 1:1, small groups and in the classroom.

I'm TEFL certified and I have previously worked teaching children and teenagers English in Indonesia, where I taught large beginner classes and small intermediate groups in a rural school.

I have also worked in a British junior school in a teaching assistant role, focusing on supporting children with additional educational needs.

More recently, I have spent several years teaching and tutoring home educated primary aged children in a variety of subjects, including languages.

I have a bachelor's degree in Biology and have an interest in science and the environment so can offer specific expertise in the use of the English language in Scientific settings.

While a large amount of my experience is in teaching children, I am now also teaching adults and I offer online classes.
