I am an enthusiastic and experienced grammar school teacher. I have proven success with high and mixed ability students

I have over 16 years Biology teaching experience in a grammar school. I also teach Chemistry and Physics to GCSE. I have tutored privately throughout my teaching career. I have a PhD in Molecular Biology and am also a former A -Level Biology examiner. In my lessons, I use a range of digital technologies, notes, examination practice questions, effective questioning, examiners experience and a structured programme to encourage independent learning between tutoring sessions. I aim to build confidence with my pupils and make them feel they have a safe environment, to help them make the most out of private tuition - really encouraging them to ask questions and engage fully with the process to help them reach their full potential.
