Advert description
I’m a history teacher who believes the past isn’t just a collection of dates and dead names, it’s the story of how our world came to be. My classroom is a place where we ask why as often as what. Why did revolutions happen? Why did empires rise and fall? Why do certain ideas survive for centuries?
I teach history as a living conversation between the past and the present.
How I Teach
I aim to make major moments feel real and human. When we explore Napoleon Bonaparte's leadership, we don’t just discuss battles, we examine ambition, power, reform, and ego. When we study Martin Luther King Jr., we look beyond speeches to strategy, resistance, and the cost of social change.
If we analyse events like the French Revolution or the Cold War, we connect them to modern politics, media narratives, and global tensions today.
History, in my classroom, is an investigation. Students evaluate sources, challenge interpretations, and learn to think like historiansnot just memorise outcomes.
Who My Lessons Are Aimed At
My lessons are aimed at:
• Curious learners who want to understand how today’s world was shaped.
• Critical thinkers who are ready to question bias and perspective.
• Future leaders who need historical awareness to make informed decisions.
• Exam-focused students who want strong analytical skills and high-level answers.
Whether you’re preparing for assessments or simply want to understand how movements like the Industrial Revolution transformed societies, my goal is to give you both knowledge and insight.
My Core Belief
History isn’t about memorising the past.
It’s about understanding power, change, conflict, culture, and human nature.
Because once you understand history, you don’t just know what happened
you understand why the world works the way it does.
