Advert description
I have a strong academic background in Applied Psychology, Clinical Psychology and Psychological Research, along with over three years of experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN), autism, ADHD and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
I teach Maths, English and Science at KS1 and KS2 level. My teaching approach is patient, supportive and tailored to each child's individual abilities, learning style and pace. I break topics into manageable steps, use clear explanations and practical examples, and encourage children to ask questions and learn from their mistakes.
I focus on building confidence, developing subject knowledge and helping students become more independent learners. I adapt my approach when a child finds something difficult and use positive encouragement to keep lessons engaging and productive. My background in psychology also helps me understand children's behavior, motivation and individual learning needs.
My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where every student feels supported, makes progress and develops a positive attitude towards learning.
